Internet settings for HTC Wildfire please

I have got a unlocked HTC Wildfire and have a o2 Sim card that i have put into my Wildfire but for some reason it has not loaded in the internet settings for o2 so can someone please leave me them please as i would like to get on the internet on my phone.

its a pay&go sim card.

I got them working in the end after trying for 3 hours.
i got the settings from this site but cant remember where they are.
Keep trying it will work in the end.

although I used the iphone address for the APN given here:
http://shop.o2.co.uk/update/settings.html
You just go into settings, wireless & networks, mobile networks, and then access point names. Press the menu button, "new APN" and remember to press the menu button and "save" to keep the changes.

here are the settings for htc wildfire on 02 pay as you go, it worked on mine.
go to... setting>wireless and networks>mobile networks>access point names>menu>new APN...
Name= o2 pay and go
APN= payandgo.o2.co.uk
Proxy= 193.113.200.195
Port= 8080
Username= payandgo
Password= password
Server=
MMSC= http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002
MMS proxy= 193.113.200.195
MMS port= 8080
MMS protocol= WAP 2.0
MCC= 234
MNC= 10
Authentification type= None
APN type= *
When you have finished inputting these settings make sure that there is a green light next to the O2 Pay and Go setting.or it won't work!

here are the settings for htc wildfire on 02 pay as you go if it helps, it worked on mine. If not because you are on contract try changing name to O2 WEB Postpay and APN to mobile.o2.co.uk not sure if it will work. Use the settings i put in brackets instead for "name", "apn" and "username"

APN= payandgo.o2.co.uk (try mobile.o2.co.uk)

I have tried the settings that are posted here to enable o2 mobile on my Wildfire and couldn't get the internet working. I looked elsewhere for the settings and managed to find them on this blog. These settings did work.

Hi. I too have been searching for settings that will give me o2 mobile internet on my HTC Wildfire. It is a shame that o2 don't support the Wildfire but anyway I found the settings worked that are here:

I have tried all these settings but none of them work for me. The internet 3G and wifi work fine but the MMS will not work. O2 said that they do no suport MMS on Pay as you go only on contract. How stupid is that! I think the only thing to do is leave O2 for a provider that I can use MMS on! So fed up with O2 been trying to get the settings for over 2 months now!

these settings work on my wildfire on payg, try sending a picture message to yourself from the phone first, and asked someone to send you one from there phone, i'm not sure but i think wi-fi and mobile network should both be deactivated for it to work, it defiantly does not work on my phone when wi-fi if on, but mobile network comes on automatically when sending or receiving mms. If this fails take it to an o2 shop and ask to speak to a guru. The guy i went to put the settings in when i first went and then told me it didnt work, it did... he forgot to turn on mobile connection. It defiantly can be done, a little persistence with these guys is all that's needed. Tell them you know it can be done as you know others on payg wildfire that get all these services and hopefully they will try a little harder. Let me know how you get on

go to... setting>wireless and networks>mobile networks>access point names>menu>new APN...and copy these details into your phone exactly, make sure the green light is next to 'o2 pay and go' after you have saved the settings, then try sending a picture message to yourself, this should activate mms. MAKE SURE WI-FI IS NOT ACTIVE WHILE SENDING PICTURE MESSAGES
