In the last few weeks I've been getting 2-3 calls a week from people who's numbers aren't in my contacts, claiming they have a missed call from me. How can that be when I don't have their number? Why is this happening all of a sudden? Can it be stopped?

Thanks for the quick response. They don't sound like scammers, they either ask me who I am because of the missed call and when I explain I didn't call them, we say a friendly goodbye. Other times, no one says anything and we both hang up. It's never led to any kind of conversation. Are they accessing other info just by me answering the call though?
