topic Rollover in Discussions & Feedback

Not sure why data does not rollover for monthly contract O2 customers. I very rarely exceed my data allowance and during the one month in the last few years when I do I’m hit with excessive bolt-on costs. This seems unfair when other network operators provide for a rollover facility.

Some Virtual Networks do such as ID Mobile, so you need to look at them, its just a USP for them, and most people dont use the rollover on those networks either..

Like you, I'm on a monthly contract and very rarely go over my data allowance as I work from home most of the time. The one time I go away for a couple of days I found I had used all my data. I have just put my son on to a £10 per month rolling plan which does have the rollover facility. With this he gets way more data than me AND the rollover facility. Seems like O2 are penalising contract customers. Why would anyone opt for a contract?

One has to assess what features are important to you and to decide accordingly.
