Why is O2’s 4g such a joke??

Does everyone else find O2’s 4g coverage an absolute ballache??
literally the old days of dial up internet were quicker ! When are going to properly address this?
5g seems an awfully long long way away!

Have you checked https://status.o2.co.uk for an issue in your local area?

I dont have any issues across Yorkshire with o2 data speeds across 4G or 5G, I do with some other networks.

A lot of factors affect the data speed on Mobile Networks:

Radio Power been transmitted

Radio Waves been received by your phone, and how your phones modem / chipset deals with the data service

Buildings as radiowaves cant penetrate them, and built up areas stop them

Backhaul speed
