Micro Sim Cards for existing customers

This is not covered on the o2 site for people who have purchased the iphone 4 sim free phone from apple but want to continue with there original contract. I am away in America at present so calling would cost a premium. Can anyone help as I have sent o2 3 emails regarding this but every time I get emailed back a link that doesn't cover the above.

I'm in the same boat as you.

I want to continue and use my contract and number on my new SIM free iPhone4. Some people have successfully gone to o2 and got a microsim with their contracts on, some of us have been to o2 and got nothing but a blank face.

I too have sent a few emails and got nothing back.

I spoke to O2 over the phone twice last night.

They seemed a little vague. First saying that if I had registered my interest, all those who had done would be sent a Micro Sim before 24th June. I asked if this was definite and then the response was ooh, um well it's not guaranteed.

I was told the same as every body else that it was best to go into a store.

I was also told that they didn't physically have stocks of the MicroSims for iPhone as yet but they hoped to get them in the next day or two and I should make contact then.

I'm personally going to try and get one in store this weekend.

Micro sims will only be available from O2 on the 24th June onwards.
Some people who registered interest got a microsim

If you're buying direct from Apple and collecting in store, they will have micro sims there as well.

I don't think anyone has received a micro sim by registering their interest as of yet. Correct me if I am wrong.

I received my free microsim yesterday. It actually states its a P&G ipad microsim but can be provisioned for the i4phone or any phone here

O2 already have microsims as they also use them for the iPad data tariff that they supply

The guy who sits next to me got his Microsim last Friday after registering that he would be buying online, if it's a store pick up you get your sim then.

I'm on 2 iPhone contracts and one has expired but the one that I need a microsim for doesn't, asked O2 CS and they said if I go to the store on the day to get handset I would get sim then.
