There is a known problem with 4g in Germany currently but we do not have any timescale for it to be fixed.
The cynical amongst us would say not until after the holiday season though.

I have been travelling around Northern Europe and has no trouble with mobile data in Scandinavia but in Germany it has been very bad. When my phone (iPhonesX) shows 4G, that means data doesn’t work or only extremely slowly. When it showed 3 G then it worked ok. So I disabled 4G and now it works much more consistently. What is that all about? It was like this in lubeck and Quedlingburg - northern and central Germany. Anyone got any ideas?

Hi @All It may be now we are into the full holiday season, data will be more throttled in some countries.

This happened last year. If 3G is ok in Germany, then I would stick with that if honest.

Maybe it's a problem too that Base (Eplus, discount company) got bought by O2 too, so all that clients got into the net too (Plus the E-net thing, O2 [and eplus in the past] were always worster than Vodafone and Telekom)
