O2 coverage for Bishop Sutton (Nr Bristol)

We have no 3G coverage and reception is pretty poor anyway. My broadband comes via a local arial but there is a possibility it could be changed to a bigger mast. Would this affect the O2 signal as well?

There is an issue with the mast but a 3G signal doesn't exist yet in that area as you know, hopefully a new or taller mast could make a huge difference:

Unless your on a business contract you can't get a signal booster for some reason O2 only offer them to business customers when it's supposed to be a fair deal for all

I believe they only offer them to business customers because they guarantee a signal to that type of account.

on business contracts less than 10 handsets the t&c are the same as consumer regarding to service level provision. (i am one of those customers 3 handsets on a business contract (no guaranteed service agreement applies to our contract))

Where exactly are you getting this information, everybody would be on a business contract if that were true?

Where is the page about guaranteed service?

If you looked at the OP you would see that their mast is down, so how would that help if you could supposedly get a guaranteed signal?

If you bothered to look at what i was replying to which was Damien1 query Not the OP's my reply would make sense.

MI5 confirmed I was correct. He is a more informed member than me. I have not in any of the posts said I obtained the info from an official O2 Page etc.

I learned the information from MI5's post in the thread I posted

If i used a wrong context word ie : Signal to Service then fine but both can point to the same.

@bob read my earlier reply there is not an automatic SLA (service level agreement ) on all types of business contracts the 1-10 user are almost identical to consumer tariffs (but we can get boostbox)

This is from The T&C that covers my business account

4 o2 obliGAtionS
4.1 O2 will supply the Services with the reasonable skill and care of a competent telecommunications service provider.
4.2 O2 does not guarantee that the Services will be continuously available and/or fault-free. The Customer acknowledges that faults may occur from time to time, provided that any specific availability or service levels agreed between the parties or as set out in a Service Schedule will take precedence.

We have no specific service schedule or sla and none was offered at time of signing our business contract.

Proof we are on a business contract and not a consumer one as stated many time by me is we cannot access my-o2 app or tugo.

I have asked time and time again and am yet to get an official answer.

Do you know why only Business Customers can have / pay for boost boxes ?

Why is it specific to Business Customers ?

@bob it is purely a business decision telefonica has decided to offer consumers tugo as it works at any wifi location and not just the address of the business that o2 register the femtocell at as part of there licence. Yes vodafone went the whole way with consumers but there forum is full of complaints.

Now on o2 2g voice is very good in most locations and when at home / business location and in wifi range why do you need 3g? Now in 2g not spots then the situation is different but yet again tugo will work for consumers (assuming a wifi connection is available via adsl) and boostbox for businesses (again requires adsl). When o2 launch tugo for business then boostbox is a redundant piece of kit that o2 will no longer need to provide dedicated support as each boostbox is locked to the handsets it allows on the network.

Just my take the rrest is down to telefonica.
