Anybody have a clue how to get hold of a human being at O2 to report a network outage and problem affecting thousands of people in the place I live? I've tried doing the Live Chat and was told somebody would come back to me but, needless to say, I never heard anything more from them.

Is there a real person or department that you can report proper network problems and not the usual silly problems that we all get from time to time?

Thank you.

Tried it. Used the chat box (twice) waste of time!!The person (Sue) admitted she could not inform the network team about a problem and I should ring them- how do I do that if I can use my phone?! Tried to use my son's phone, guess what, he uses Tesco and they use....you guessed it....O2!!!

In desperation I have written to your Chief exec- Dunn. The irony of having to write and post a problem to O2 is not lost on me!!!

A simple email to report problems would be one way to go. You really need to look at your systems - they are simply not fit for purpose. I have invited your chief exec to contact his company about a fault on the network without a phone and see how long it takes him. I have been at this for hours and unlike employees of O2 I am self employed and do not get paid sorting out their problems!! But I suffer because of them. Yes, I am angry!

Is this a serious question?

"But what do you do if, because of the fault, you cannot use your phone!"

I could borrow another phone in ten minutes if I had to, I'm not sure what facility O2 should provide to make this any easier for you.

You can message O2 here:

https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/help/help

or write to them here:

Telefónica UK Limited
Correspondence Department

PO BOX 694

Winchester
