Changing plan and getting Disney + extra

I have a plan which I included Disney + and now I pay monthly fee which is added onto my phone bill. I have just upgraded and was wanting to use the 6 month extra for Disney + but it’s not allowing me select this extra as it’s active. If I cancel the extra will it then allow me to use my 6 month free extra for Disney +

Yes, you need to cancel the current subscription.
