Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 from O2 - Damn thing's almost never worked!

I bought this on a 3 year contract last July, however despite returning to the shop with it several times, they won't do anything because they don't even believe I am who I am and that the account's in my name because I don't carry ID documents due to being prone to losing stuff.

Basically, the Watch won't maintain a full charge for more than a couple of hours at a time and even that's pushing it a bit, despite it being on charge most of the time when I'm not wearing it.

Anyway, because I don't think the item's fit for purpose, would there be a way to return it and cancel the contract? As mentioned I've had it for nearly 9 months since last July.

If you believe it to be faulty it would need toi go in for repair, either to O2 or Samsung.

Samsung support would be your best option as it's under warranty

Possibly you've fried the battery if it's left on charge 'most of the time'.

I've tried to send it off for repair, they won't do anything because they don't believe I am the owner of the account.

That's a problem only you can fix.

Take a responsible adult with you to carry your ID if you keep losing it.

Yes.

And I use the same security password for almost everything (Mum's maiden name) but they still won't accept that when I ring CS in store.

Also, don't get me wrong, the one thing I am NOT is racist, but the fact the majority of Foreign call centre Agents don't understand my strong Yorkshire accent seriously gets on my wick, and they don't like it when I use my catchphrase "I am speaking English in a Sheffield accent!"

Dont go through o2, go to Samsung direct and they can arrange a repair or replacement all you need is proof of purchase..

You could even try the Phone repair shop on Eccie road, just below Starbucks as they are if I remember an authorised Samsung repair shop..

You do need ID to do anything in store its to protect you and them..

And to add I have the same problem, with not just o2 but a lot of call centres with my deedar accent...

Hmm, I might see about popping up to Eccleshall Road this week then.

My dad was born in Ecclesall and even he agrees its not Ecclesall :)_

Well as of last Saturday morning, the watch is now fixed and has worked all week.

It just needs charging.
