Ok thanks. Been a while since I've had to use a local SIM. All the decent roaming options have gone now.

Hi,

I've been reading the details on the O2 website for the O2 Travel Inclusive Zone, and I've also read the roaming mega guide, but I still have some questions.

With the Travel Inclusive zone, I can see that you're allowed 120 minutes and texts per day, but how much data are you allowed? as it doesn't seem to be specified

Reading through this article on the O2 website - https://www.o2.co.uk/international/travel-inclusive-zone

it says that all allowances are subject to the Fair Usage Policy here - https://www.o2.co.uk/international/travel-inclusive-zone

But the Fair Usage Policy only mentions roaming within Europe, there's no mention of roaming outside Europe in the Fair Usage Policy.

Also, just on another point. With regards to roaming within Europe, the Fair Usage Policy says that data roaming will be limited to 25gb, if you go over that you'll be charged. But the roaming mega guide says you can use your allowances as you do at home. So which is correct?

Thanks

Lee

However if going to the US you would be better off getting a local sim as data is extremely slow.

As for travel in Europe, data is limited to 25gb, despite what your tariff may be whilst in UK.

<LI-PRODUCT title="Guide: Roaming MegaGuide" id="Guide062"></LI-PRODUCT>

https://www.o2.co.uk/help/pay-monthly/roaming-in-europe

<LI-PRODUCT title="USA - Roaming with O2" id="Guide085"></LI-PRODUCT>

Don't buy at the airport as they are expensive. They are sold pretty much everywhere, even the local 7/11 stores.
