Hi first post quick question about the huawei redemption offer
I bought a huawei p20 pro works. One month contract yesterday for a present for my son
Now I don’t need the airtime contract as my already as a sim only deal
I know I can’t claim the tablet until after 30 days after my purchase
My question is this how long do I have to keep the account active can I cancel on day 15 and give 30 days notice , claim on day 30 for the tablet meaning total of 45 days active account or do I have to wait until the full 30 days are up to claim the tablet and cancel the airtime contract
I hope this makes sense 😁

A “Qualifying Purchase” is the purchase of an Eligible Device directly from O2 stores (including franchise stores), online at o2.co.uk or through our O2 Telesales between 8 November 2018 and 23 December 2018 (“Offer Period”).
An “Eligible Device” means Huawei Mate 20 Pro or Huawei P20 Pro on:
1. for consumer customers: any O2 Refresh tariff.
2. for O2 Business customers: any Small Biz or Business Essentials tariff.
Eligible Devices that are purchased and returned within the Change-Your-Mind period, do not qualify for this Offer. Purchases made through a third party distributor are excluded and will not qualify for this Offer.

However if you kept the device, it is usually a total of 45 days before application and receiving the tablet...
