      <title>Can't receive SMS messages on new PAYG Sim</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yesterday I installed a new PAYG sim and topped up £10. I am able to make and receive phone calls, and send SMS messages. I cannot receive messages. I have tried multiple other numbers on different networks sending to me.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have tried resetting my network settings and have verified that the message centre number is correct. I have tried all of the options on this guide -&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-Guides/Text-Message-Tips-not-sent-or-received/ba-p/1179723" target="_blank"&gt;https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-Guides/Text-Message-Tips-not-sent-or-received/ba-p/1179723&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I tried calling 4445 and the person could not understand it when I explained that I did not have the number attached to an O2 account yet because I could not receive the OTP SMS required. He also helpfully attempted to send me a security code via SMS to verify number ownership, and was confused when I said I did not receive the code. Superb support, there.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Does anyone have any ideas before I give up?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
