Topping up a new O2 SIM with PAYG

I am a new customer to O2 and recently received my new SIM card. I am however, having problems adding any funds to my SIM as when I login to my MyO2 account it only gives me the options for MONTHLY plans, which I am not interested in. As I travel extensively during the year, I only spend half of the year in the UK therefore a monthly plan would be of no use. Please therefore advise how I can just top-up as and when I am in the UK, i.e. Pay As You Go (this option does not appear to be available to me online).

Secondly - who/how do I go about sending my PAC number to request to keep my old mob number?

There is no classic PAYG anymore on o2, so all you have is bundles and rolling plans..

Your first top up will need to be done via Voucher, which can be purchased online or from a local shop

You might also run into a problem with roaming, as you are only allowed as per the T&C's to use your phone in the EU 63days in every 120days and the phone must be normally in the UK, so if you are trying to get cheap EU roaming, you might find yourself cut off..

There's no old style PAYG with O2 anymore.

You need to look elsewhere and all I can think of currently is www.giffgaff.com.
