Hi my phone has put out going calls blocked on my phkne i can not turn it off with out code i dont know the code. To disable this. Ive never used it before. I can not even call 02. Im freaking out. Please can anyone help me. Ib tried to get help on line in th 02 App but when it asks fir my number to get puk vode it days number not recognised. Im crying my eyes out i can not speak french. Help please. Maureen

You will be getting restricted calls due to the fact that PAYG needs a 3g network to make calls. Most countries and carriers have now turned off 3g.

Try manually searching for a different network or use WhatsApp where possible to make calls, or get a local sim.

Orange FR are not phasing out 3G until 2028

See if you can select that network.

As a side note they will be phasing out 2G next year.

Sfr and Bouygues still had 3g in some areas earlier this year too, but we're assuming @Mo121 is in France. There are many other French speaking countries to guess from.

Hi its the sim card that is blocking me it days out gling calls on block and i carnt turn it off i dont wnow the code 0000 1234 and another 2 online none work. Thank you for trying to help.

If it is saying its a outgoing calls block then that doesnt require a PUK code, and you are going to have to reach out to o2 via Facebook or Instagram, all the details can be found here

Already given contact details above and tried to explain the issue.

I'm sure O2 will say the same.

Also, in addition to the initial issue, the sim may now be blocked if incorrect PIN / PUK or whatever numbers have been tried too many times.

A local sim or WhatsApp where possible might now be the only option until back in UK.

Take your passport into any OrangeF shop or buy from a local supermarche, Carrefour etc
