topic O2 taking my credit without my permission for data in Pay As You Go

Absolutely fed up with O2 taking credit automatically when I try and access the Internet when I've run out of data. If I've run out, then tell me and ask my permission instead of assuming I have to go online. More often than not, I don't urgently need the internet. I don't need to pay £2 for something that can wait until I get home. Absolutely ridiculous how much money o2 has essentially stolen for me because it automatically deducts £2 the second I use my data, often accidentally because it's the moment I've just ran out of data on my plan. Truthfully, considering other networks, any suggestions welcome for PAYG with a plan between £10 and £15 for around 10gb data. Seriously fed up of o2 and being told there's nothing they can do because it's automatic.
