USB C getting hot

I can't charge my phone. When I plug any cable in, it doesn't start charging, and the usb c end of the cable gets very hot. Is my phone faulty?

If it the same on all cables it may be the phone. Try a different charger plug and check the phone socket for debris

Tried different plugsand cables.they all get hot. I've got it turned off, as I only have 45% to perform smart switch.

if it is a new phone contact o2 to get it replaced.

if other 14days contact the manufacturer support and they should be able to advise on getting it replaced or repaired

If you are trying to get a one-off charge simply to use smart switch, can you use a wireless charger ?
