Samsung Watch 5 Pro - Any Hints or Tips?

Whilst DHL sit on my watch at my local depot as delivery is next working day, not next day, i wondered if anyone had any hints or tips on how to set it up?

I have not had a galaxy watch before, currently use a Garmin Fenix 5.

I see it comes with an esim with a different number, but i hope i can make / receive calls on the watch from my existing number on my galaxy phone as that was the draw for me and something lacking from the Fenix. Also google wallet will be useful.

Any insights would be most appreciated, Thank you

I'll report back how it goes.

I still have to get my wife's galaxy watch to pair with o2 that she got from Samsung.
Your guide will come useful then, but she wants to see how mine works with the esim first, if it's something she wants to bother with.

Happy to report the watch arrived, i followed the setup on the wearables app, scanned the esim, and calls came straight through to the watch.
Didn't have to notify O2, setup was immediate.
