Decided to stay with O2 when upgraded phone to Glaxy A51 & wanted to be able to use WFI calling but is not working on, my 'phone's firmware is not compatable. When will firmeware be upgraded so it is compatable?

Your phone does not require specific O2 firmware to use wifi calling.

Have you checked if your firmware is up to date?

Settings >About >Updates

Also, where did you get the phone, was it from O2 or a third party?

Phone purchased July 2020 via O2 online

According to extract below from O2 site it would seem my phone is not supported?

According to O2 site device will need to use O2 firmware. Your device should use O2 firmware if you bought it direct from us in an O2 shop, online or over the phone.

To check if your phone’s running O2 firmware, dial *#1234# and look at the CSC entry. If this line includes ‘TEF’, ‘O2U’ or ‘OTF’ then your device has O2 firmware and you can set up Wifi and 4G Calling.
If the CSC doesn't include one of these codes then Wifi and 4G Calling isn’t supported on your phone right now.

That only applies to specific phones but yours is not one of them as I said previously.

You have generic UK firmware but you're not up to date.

or A515FOXM4EUC8 ?

If it's 8 you have somehow got Three UK firmware on your phone, which is why wifi calling isn't working, so you'll need to flash A515FOXM4EUD7 to get it to work.

I posed a similar question on the Samsung members forum and was advised that this version is unbranded and I would need to do the flash update myself but if it went wrong there would be no waranty. As phone is still under waranty then I should go back to supplier. As I was preparing all my notes my phone ran an undate and surprise surprise I now have this version of the firmware. So we will see how it goes.
