Loud speaker stopped working

I got my Google pixel 3 in July 2019 and the speaker has stopped working so I can not use video calling (not great timing as it's the only way my children can see their Grandparents atm). Any way of fixing it? Or will it be covered by a guarantee?

does the loud speaker work for when you play music through your phone or when you record a video, can you hear the audio during play back?

unfortunately , if it doesnt work at all, then a repair would be your best option, the google pixel has a 24 month warranty so this kind of fault will be covered provided you dont have any physical damageor liquid damage to your device

if you plug headphones in to the port , that is a temporary solution although not ideal in this situation

do you have any issues charging the device aswel?

worth trying to clean out the charging port as sometimes the phone can think its got headphones plugged in all the time hence why the speaker doesnt work, may not be the case in your instance but worth a go

you can do the repair via o2 if you purchased the device directly via o2 or via google

Your warranty is 2 years so providing it's a manufacturing fault and it's not had a bath, you're covered.

Thank you so much. No I have no sound playing back videos either. I bought it through a contract with Carphonewearhouse- is that who I need to contact?

If it were me, i would contact google repair.
Anovo (who o2 uses) does not have a great review...
