Service not active on network

Hi I have a Huawei P smart 2019 first time I have had a contract phone . Trying to send message with attached photo but keep getting message "Service not active on network"

am I doing something wrong or is it on O2 side I need to phone

If you really want to send an MMS you need to text the word "ACTIVE" to 2020, then save the setings that get sent back, however, MMS messages cost 50p each, so you may wish to consider sending pictures via WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger etc, which will use free data from your allowances.

The settings for mms are here but as said, 55p per picture message is quite expensive
