I have been following various news about when the P10 Plus will get an update for Android. I also just noticed that someone posted on this forum that they have an Oreo update for their P10 so where is the P10 Plus update?

The only person who would be able to answer your question is @Chris_K who I've tagged into this thread. We are all customers like yourself and wouldn't have this information. If there is any information to be had, he's the man to provide it.

We approved the Oreo update for the P10 Plus back in November last year, so you should have it available to you. All I can suggest is to try a manual software update to see if it triggers the download:

Go to Settings.
Tap Update.
Tap Check for updates

If that doesn't trigger anything, please confirm:

- Where you purchased your phone (ie, from O2 directly, or via a 3rd party such as CPW)

- What software/build version your phone says you're on

Thank you for getting back to me. I upgraded through Carphone Warehouse. I have tried the update but nothing happens. Even a complete reset.

Build number: VKY-L09C432B124
Emui version: 5.1
Android version: 7.0

It's not. That's generic firmware.
Speak to Huawei about your update.
