All I can suggest is that you check both the car and phone for firmware updates and maybe try an app of Play to see if it helps.
You'll need to find an app that supports A2DP connections.

I have a WILEYFOX dual sim. Although both SIM sections operate, I currently only operate with one SIM, but

I suffer badly with 'Bluetooth' and connecting up with a new model, Mercedes 'E' Class.

It is a total struggle to link into the system - between the mobile and the car. When it does come together, its as it should be. You later vacate the vehicle, upon returning it will not auto-connect and nor it does recognize any connection (previously found), so you are back to square 1 and struggle to re-connect.

Although it is a total nightmare to connect up with the car in the first place - the vehicle displays the model type - so it knows of the mobile, but on occasions refuses to acknowledge the mobile being present - but it just absolutely refuses too allow an easy connection

Is their ANYTHING I can do to help myself?? I seem to be going around in circles.

It may be a cause with low memory and the obligatory on/off suggestion. I've recently had some similarities on my iPhone not connecting as normal to my Subaru and just cleared out background apps and all worked again though I put the blame on the recent iOS update as well.

But sounds an odd suggestion and probably the only time I'll get to say it: have you tried in another car? Its not unknown for some manufacturers to do things differently and sometimes an update on the car system is the only solution.

I recently went through a situation such as this Skoda car / sony phone, and eventually realised that there was a setting on both car and phone to retset to factory settings, this i did and proceeded to pair phone to car and it has not been a problem since. Previously the phone had been paired to previous car and as the car was second hand presumably it too had been paired to another phone, so this plan seemed to make sense.

Hi John D

Thank you for the information.

As I am not a techno-phobe, I will put your suggestion to 'A.N.Other' and see if it can fix the issue.

Regards

Stompie
