We have no way of knowing when O2 will add different open firmware handsets to the eligibility list or indeed if they ever will I'm afraid

https://www.o2.co.uk/connectivity/wifi-and-4g-calling

Hi, Does anyone know when I will be able to add Wifi Calling to my XZ Premium. I purchased the phone directly from Sony so am not running o2 firmware. I have this with my Iphone on another network and it really makes a difference. Especially in large offices that are blocking mobile signals.

It wont work at this present time, as you need o2 firmware on the XZ Premium.

https://www.o2.co.uk/connectivity/wifi-and-4g-calling

Unfortunately it's whenever O2 allow the unlocked handsets to use the vowifi and volte services
They are adding more and more as time goes on, so keep checking back on the O2 site.
Xz premium handsets bought direct from O2 have this feature already
