Finish contract, go to a sim only deal, 1 month on get 4 texts in 4 days from o2 that say "Corrupt Text" 1 hour after last text phone dies! Sony Z5 Compact. Pink pixelated screen and wont turn off properly???

Surely not?

Tried everything to find the problem on line, nothing, complete reset on the computer, yes it did connect to PC Companion, but still same thing.

Any thoughts from anyone?

Off to get a replacement, regardless, if it can be fixed it will be a spare.

I doubt it’s got anything to do with the texts but contact Sony for advice.
It sounds like the screen cable is lose or damaged or something else hardware related.
