I am trying to unlock my Samsung galaxy S6 that I bought from Carfone Warehouse on an O2 contract, though O2 has said that as I did not buy the phone from them, they cannot unlock the phone. After then speaking to Carfone Warehouse, they said that only an O2 (i.e. my network provider) can unlock the phone. Could you please advise me on the situation?

Hi @Anonymous if bought from CPW the phone will already be unlocked. Just try another sim in it...

Thank you I tried the aim card change and the phone was already unlocked

You're not the first to be told by CPW that they can't unlock their own phones which are never locked anyway.
You'd think they'd know that?
