topic can't receive text messages in Android

can't receive text messages

I can receive calls but not text messages. The local network is fine, I haven't damaged my device, I have reset and restarted my phone and it only occurred randomly on Sunday afternoon.

I contacted o2 yesterday and they said the issue would be resolved in 24 hours as it apparently was a local connection drop (?) after all but no change.

Any ideas? 😞

Try taking your sim out and giving it a wipe with a dry cloth.

Check you have the correct message centre number

Open messages, settings and type in the message centre number :
Pay Monthly +447802000332
Pay & Go +447802092035

Just for reference, the message centre number usually only effects sending texts.

Is this contract or P&G? Do you have TU installed?
