Your help is greatly appreciated...

A few days back I took delivery of a s7 from Tesco and after a bad start of it starting up in Spanish that was quickly sorted ..now this is where the problem lies...the software is the issue its not a UK version so if anyone can point me in the right direction..I have checked on sammobile without any joy...

You could always exchange the device for another one if you think there's an issue with the software

@PhoneDoc The only issue I have with the software is that its not a UK version and I dont want to swap it.

@jonsie Just gone through all the german version and nothing there 😞 Thanks anyway.

Also gone through the list again inc all the UK/Ireland and still cant find it so I am at a loss unless I am going daft in head and missed it bit its definetel not UK or German

Open that app, 2nd tab along csc country will identify it.

Hi @viridis

Followed your instructions and it states that it is UK & IRE / GB and BTU but the codes dont match up

It's a btu model, UK unlocked.
But what tests has put on it is beyond me..
Using the app, check the simlock using the built in service code shortcut.

The update was just March's security updates. Your phone and software is UK BTU

Nope, all good. If that app detects it as UK BTU, that's what it is.

There is no issue to take up.
Its stock uk unbranded firmware.
