Hi I've just got the Galaxy S7 & when I'm on messaging the font size changes, on the S5 I could stop this happening but I cannot find how to do this in the manual. Hope someone can help with this issue.

Hi @Anonymous

If you go into settings on phone, then device ..scroll down and you should see font size...Change it there

Volume up or down changes the font size on s6 and s7

Can't you change it via settings and device though @viridis?

I could on my S3 and Note 3 ....

That's for general font, in messaging app, text size is separate from system font size, they literally built it into the volume buttons lol

Thanks...you can then....(I never do it via volume controls.. only in the settings as shown)

I know how to do that it's when I'm sending a message if I accidently press the left had button the font either goes large or small on the S5 I could dissable that

I think to disable it, you go to messaging, then the settings button top right, then there is a setting for resizing text using volume button. Untick it.
Make sure the font is correct size for you before you Untick tho lol

Just checked, it's
Messaging, more, font size, then turn on use device font size.
