So what happened...did it just cut off half way through? Or did you reboot the tablet and it was as before?

Downloaded - it then prompts me to reboot i get the little droid with the update thingy, it got to 26% then went back to 0% got to 26% again and then the droid with error comes up - the tablet then reboots no updates, but working ok. I will try usin Kies.

Hopefully you'll have more joy with Kies. I presume the tablet is fully charged?

It wasn't fully charged (44%) and was plugged into the charger. I will charge it and try again using Kies as said.

I'll let it finishing updating apps etc and do a first impressions of lollipop on Galaxy tab S 10.5 when I have had a little play.

Got it yesterday, I updated my original post asking for info - http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Android-Devices-Samsung-HTC-Sony/Lollipop-for-Tab-S-10-5/td-p/873354 It seems all good so far much like the S5 lollipop but with Tablet profiles option. I was mainly eager for it for smart lock.
