Does anyone know how I can get my Galaxy S6 to work with kies as I do not like the new smart switch...If I try to use kies it tells me that I have to use the newbie...

SmartSwitch replaced Kies last month. It started with the S6 but it appears to be now used on some other models.

Any attempt to use kies will simply point you to Smartswitch I'm afraid.

I don't like smart switch - you can see what they were after, but they are a long way off it!

i have note 3 and i run both kies and smart switch i just downloaded kies from samsung site and i can click on kies and check updates etc or click on smart switch which i also think is pants

Personally I use My Phone Explorer Clent. Kies was so temperamental

Can you not just dismiss the notice to use smartswitch and continue with Kies?

You can dismiss the smart switch notice but it still does not connect
