You are talking about the Lollipop update I presume? It is being rolled out to all devices but you may have to be patient a little longer...

According to http://samsung.youmobile.org/ the Galaxy Alpha update is imminent. Of course it depends as to where you obtained your device as to when the update will arrive.

Having just responded to someone else about this.. it does appear (back in March) that O2 had no plans AS YET to release the update to the Alpha model.
