Problem sending text message

This might seem a silly question, recently I have been having problems sending text messages to someone with an iphone (who I have previously messaged without any problem in the past) the message says it's been sent but the recipient doesn't always get them - they can message me no problem but they never get my reply. I don't have any other problems sending/receiving texts to other people so I am assuming that it's a problem their end but they insist it's not. So I just wanted to see if anyone has experienced a similar problem.

It's getting quite frustrating!

It is possible that they have accidentally added your number to their blocked list.
Ask them to check.

If it's only the one phone, check your message settings to make sure you haven't accidentally added the number to the reject list.
