I guess depending on whether you're on PAYG, or Sim Only you can make the most out of O2's own Apps such as TU Go, Priority Moments, O2 WiFi to name but a few!

For clarity as your Note 4 (you LUCKY THING! !!!) is not locked to any network (i.e. when you turn it on it doesn't show
a networks logo filling up the front screen) then you won't have to wait for the network to review the update first.

When Samsung release lollipop they will do it in batches and when it is your turn your phone will download it. I would recommend you do this on wifi as it can be a fair chunk of data.

You could use Samsung Kies when lollipop is released if you really can't wait but I personally wouldn't recommend it.

I am assuming you know how to check for firmware updates but just in case

Settings
General
About device
Software update
Check for updates

I would make sure the Auto update box and the Update only over wifi box are both ticked.

Enjoy @Anonymous

As for your question "any tips on how to get the best out of the Note 4" well yes I do have a tip @Netcat. Give it to me and get yourself a Nokia 3310!

The Note 4 is a fabulous piece of kit and you will find new functions with it for months to come. Enjoy the journey

Knowing where to start can be a challenge in itself. I have a note 3 which I have had almost a year and I still find new things it can do.

I half expect it to wash up and do the ironing sometimes. The 4 is likely to do the cooking too.

Start with the things you want to do with your phone and build from there. If you like sport for example then SkyGo and BT Sport work well on there.
