Hey Everyone,

You all know that the Sony’s new premier phone the Xperia Z2 is coming to O2 soon, with an exclusive Purple variant only on O2!

We all remember those iconic phone in the water pictures from the Z1, now Sony has done it again! That's right, it can float.

Are you thinking about getting one? Looks pretty cool, here are some key features-

Hey Damien, do a quick cache clear of your browser and give it another go

I must say - Its now nearly the end of March, and still literally nothing on the Xperia Z2.

Has it gone through benchmark testing to confirm it will be released?

It's starting to frustrate me that more and more companies are offering pre-orders, and O2 are telling no one anything.

Give me a release date, tell me when I can see one in a store, tell me if there's a dummy model I can look at, tell me SOMETHING!!!

Hello.
So for over a week other companies have had preorders available of the Sony Xperia Z2. I've called O2 about 4 times asking why there isn't any information regarding tariffs or preorders available, but to no avail. You can even see o2 tariffs for it on the carphone warehouse website!!!
Vodafone are offering a free television to the first 3000 preorders, Phones4U are offering free portable speakers etc... I'm just wondering why O2 hasn't released this information, and why does whoever is in charge of releasing it not think people will preorder elsewhere to guarentee the likes of a television?! It's atrocious business sense, and having been a customer for years with o2 who is now at the end of a contract and willing to consider another one, it is appauling customer service.

If you could pass this message on to anyone dealing with releasing information that would be great.

I'm in exactly the same position. holding off getting a Z1, while waiting. Seems odd all the other offers from other companies like Vodafone and carphone warehouse etc offering deals to pre order. And you know o2 will end up being the same price with no gifts or enticements.

Thanks for the link Adam, but I registered here as soon as the announcement came out, and have heard diddly squat.

I've also chatted to O2 on the phone, and nothing has come of it.

I'm in the same boat as others, holding off on a Z1 so I can get the Z2, but there has been no word at all, and its nearly April. On the Sony website, they confirm orders will ship early April.

Seriously O2 - tell us something!
