Even when connected to hotel wifi you may need to sign in to a browser. Reception desk should be your first step to resolve the problem.

Hi - I'm overseas, happily using wifi to get emails etc until an couple of days ago. My phone tells me I'm connected to the hotel wifi, as I was before, but nothing is coming through. There doesn't seem to be any reason from my account why this is happening, anyone have any ideas. I'm on the Simplicity tariff, in case this is relevant. Tx, mhbcam

WiFi has nothing to do with your account. If it's not transmitting any data it will be an issue with the Hotel's network.
Can you get on the internet or is it everything that has stopped working?

You might just have to re-enter the hotel's password. It may time itself out after a few days.

As MI5 says it may be the WiFi connection.

Speak to the hotel reception people.

OK, thanks all, have checked the hotel, they say wifi is ok, but will try re-entering password on browser. Re other devices, laptop has crashed 😞 so can't tell if wifi is ok with that!
