Got the Kit Kat 4.4 update OTA this morning on the Nexus 7 Tablet.

Thankfully it went very smoothly unlike the 4.3 update on my S3.

That's good news. Please let us know what you think of it. I'm due the update on my Motorola Razr HD, but I don't think it will get rolled out to me before the New Year.

That's good to hear I'm still waiting for my one on my nexus 7 2013 Wi-Fi edition and I got mine from Google play hopefully not to long now. Here are some apps that take advantage of immersive mode on android 4.4 kitkat if you are interested?

To be honest I haven't had much chance to use it as yet. Mine is the 2013 32GB version and it downloaded overnight here so took a chance and installed it before checking if there were any reported problems.

Seems fine though. I'll report back when I have had a play around with it

I haven't seen anything anywhere reporting any trouble with the Kit Kat rollout. Hopefully you shouldn't have any problems.

Hi guys. Might even get this update for my Xperia t. Under consideration according to Sony.
Should be ok as I think kit Kat been tweaked to run on low ram phones?
Here's waiting for O2 to release it hopefully! Lol

Apparently it will run on as little as 512 MB ram.

It turned up Friday on my Nexus 4, seems to be ok so far.

Apparently I have another update to come to clear up a few bugs in the KRT 16S version:

The update brings the new Google Hangouts instant chat interface, automatic caller ID for nearby businesses, as well as the new ART runtime – a feature that reduces app start times and improves battery performance. Google reportedly encountered a lot of bugs in the original KRT16S build of Android 4.4. The new build – KRT16O – is now seeding to Nexus 4 handsets and is believed to have addressed these problems.

Expect an OTA update in the next 24 hours or so…

Well there won't be much of a difference other than the behind the scenes tweaks hangouts being default SMS screen recording and immersive mode. It mainly going to be supposedly radical difference to the lower end phones with 512mb ram.

Also I am disappointed that the new Google experience launcher is not on the other nexus devices..... for now. However its pretty easy to sideload if you know what you are doing!

Still no update for my nexus 7 and 4 but am loving it on the n5!
