galaxy s4 sim card not detected

hi, my samsung galaxy s4 lost signal 2 days ago and everything ive tried it just keeps saying to insert sim card to access network services, any ideas?

Hi, have you tried different sim? Or your antena is gone, S4 should be still in warranty. Visit o2 shop, they be able to replace sim or check any area issues.

went to o2 shop yesterday, the girl wasnt very helpful and just said they would have to send away to get looked at and it would take 10 days or so, thought id try out this for a solution first..10 days is a long time with out my phone

That should be the maximum, some have reported getting them back in half that time.

The shop could have swapped the sim for you to eliminate that.

Did the store actually look at the phone or just tell you it would have to sent for repair. I would get a new sim first or try another friend's sim in the phone.

It would be weird and unprofesional and just past problem to someone as. Save time and hustle. Waiting for the answer davimc51...Not even try different sim as Jonsie say?
