Check your Gmail account. If your contacts were saved to your phone, they should be in Gmail as well. When you set up your new phone and log in to Gmail, all your contacts should transfer to your new phone.

When you first set the phone up you would have to have used a Gmail account. Contacts are automaticall backed up there. Just sign in your Gmail account on a PC and use the restore function to put the contacts back onto your phone.
