Wifi disabled default

Hi, yesterday noticed my wifi was not connecting on my Samsung S3. Switched router off then back on and now all my other devices are connected fine (ipad, iPod, laptop) apart from my phone, I can see my network but when I try to connect to it it sticks on "disabled".

Please can anyone offer any advise as to how I can connect?

Have you tried soft resetting your phone ?

You may have to hard reset the phone but be sure to make a back up first.

Yes, well, I did a soft reset yesterday for a different problem (not receiving texts), I'll take a look at that guide. Thank you

Ok.

Hope it resolves the issue.

If not you may have to look at the hard reset option.

Hi, just to let you know, I fixed it, I told my wireless settings to forget my wifi, the added a new network using my settings, it's worked anyhow. Thank you again. Have a great rest of your day
