Good Morning,

There should be this option within the phones settings.

Or possibly hooking up the phone to your Pc/mac and use its suite.

If your looking for more memory space then look at deleting old emails and their attachments, old texts, unused apps, browser cache's, pics and videos.

Music and videos that you dont watch or listen to anymore.

Use Adams link to the official user manual site for further information.

There is very little internal storage on that phone. Once space is taken up with the phones software there is little room for anything else. Text messages, call logs and emails will all be stored on the phone and taking up valuable space.

Hi

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have looked through the app manager and the caches of each of the Apps - nothing obvious. I hooked up this phone to my laptop and all that is mounted is the SD card. I will look that txts and msgs to see if this the issse. The most used App is WhatsApp but this stored on the sd card. The My Drives app space analyser does really help but just shows that /System is running low. aaaaahhhhhhh!

You may have the whatsapp app stored on the SD card but check and see where it is saving messages and pictures to - The default is the internal phone storage.

Hi

Thanks for the reply. I will take a look when I am next get given it ( as it is not my phone). I think it does write everything to the SD card but I will need to look through /System to see if there is anything. Given there is loads of space on the SD card , it looks like the available space has gone over the allowed minimum threshold.. I wonder if there is better app for being able to look though /System. I did have a similar issue on my Note 2 but that was so much easier to track down the temp file causing the issue.
