Hi, i have just brought a HTC ONE SV and i need internet settings i have tried searching the o2 site but can only find settings for the ONE S so i have tried them and my phone tells me "Connection failed due to incorrect APN setting"

APN settings are as follows

Name: O2 Pay And Go

APN: wap.o2.co.uk

Proxy:193.113.200.195

Port:8080

Username:o2wap

Password: password

Server: Not set

MMSC:http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002

MMS proxy: 193.113.200.195

MMS port:8080

MMS protocol: WAP 2.0

MCC: 234

MNC:10

Authentication type: PAP

APN type:default,hipri

Bearer: Unspecified

Please help me i need internet on my phone

Hi,

Ring 02 on 202{contract} or 4445 {payg}and have the settings sent to you via a sms message and simply save and activate them.

change apn from wap.o2.co.uk to payandgo.o2.co.uk

and user name to o2wap everything else looks good, hope this helps

I think the OP may well have sorted this out in the last three months since they posted but hopefully it may well help someone else
