Can anyone tell me if i can transfer calender dates from my nokia to my new galaxy ace easily????

What Nokia did you have? Were the calender dates saved to an online calender (such as Google, Hotmail, etc.) or were they saved to the phone?

A quick glance makes me believe these apps may only sync from Google to Nokia and not the other way around (which is what you are wanting).

Use PC Suite to back up your Nokia. Export calendar file and import it into your GMail calendar. Sync your phone with your GMail account. Job done.
