Only other thing I can suggest is that you delete the BT connection to your van from your phone or factory reset the phone. A reboot always used to clear it for me when I had the issue......

Hello my name is Alan and I'm new to this forum hoping someone will be able to help me.

I have a handmedown phone from my wife (w995) and I seem to have a problem with it. When receiving a call I can only take the call via bluetooth in my van rather than directly through the handset. There is a headset icon showing at the top of the screen I'm wondering if bthis has anything to do with the problem. The thing is that as hard as I have tried to get rid of this icon I have had no success any advice as to how to do this would be much appreciated.

Thanks Alan

Turn off your bluetooth headset then reboot the phone. Quite a few of the old SE handsets used to "stick" after a BT connection. If you don't reboot the phone it would still route the call through the BT device even though it wasn't connected anymore. It's just a bug that's unlikely to get fixed now.
