      <title>MSS and Mobile Internet Settings</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Bit of a long shot this, as I suspect there are not many members who will even remember the HTC S740 Rose; but I like to keep old faithfuls going, as emergency phones. Anyway, I have used the S740 with 02 many years ago and after a few years with Orange have&amp;nbsp;come back&amp;nbsp;again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It still performs well, but I cannot get the internet or mms connections working. Is there anyone out there who can provide the settings needed for this model?&amp;nbsp; The settings that look most likely, culled from various sources and my not-too-reliable memory,&amp;nbsp;at the moment are:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Access point&lt;/STRONG&gt;:&amp;nbsp; &lt;A href="http://payandgo.o2.co.uk" target="_blank"&gt;http://payandgo.o2.co.uk&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;User name&lt;/STRONG&gt;: payandgo&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Password:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp; password&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;IP Address&lt;/STRONG&gt;:&amp;nbsp;193.113.200.195&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;MMSC URL&lt;/STRONG&gt;:&amp;nbsp; &lt;A href="http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002" target="_blank"&gt;http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;WAP gateway&lt;/STRONG&gt;:&amp;nbsp;193.113.200.195&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Port&lt;/STRONG&gt;:&amp;nbsp;8080&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Connect Via:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp; WAP Network&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;WAP Version&lt;/STRONG&gt;: WAP 2.0&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But so far no joy.&amp;nbsp; Any help appreciated.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi and thanks to all.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Did finally manage to get mms running last night, using WAP Gateway of &lt;STRONG&gt;82.132.254.1 &lt;/STRONG&gt;as suggested in link provided by MI5.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Main problem seemed to be that on this Orange version of S740, the&amp;nbsp;default GPRS connection is set to&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;WAP&lt;/STRONG&gt; and this needed to be changed to &lt;STRONG&gt;Internet &lt;/STRONG&gt;to get the necessary data connection for O2 MMS. Only realised this when I tried to switch Data On in the Comm Manager and it wasn't recognising a data connection existed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Again, many thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Chris&lt;/P&gt;</description>
