I have a contract pay monthly sim, I'm not to bad with tech but I have been told by various tech folk as well as lookin online that when i switch on my Blackberry 9720, I see 3G in the top right corner, I would like to access 4G, I have told by various persons I have to upgrade my SIM or upgrade my phone.

any help would be appreciated.

Your phone isn't a 4g phone I don't believe so a 4g phone is required.

You need a 4G ready phone & a 4G enabled sim. So basically you need a whole upgrade to a new phone & tariff

If you look in the shop pages you can filter all the phones by 4g and choose from them.
