Hi,

I have a Panasonic FZ E1, operating on Windows 8.1 embedded.

I am unable to send MMS's, even though the rest of the fine on 02 is fine.

The online "chat" engineers were unable to help me with the full settings, as they only were able to email these details:

MMS access point name: wap.o2.co.uk

Username: o2wap

Password: password

Proxy address: 82.132.254.1

Proxy port: 8080

MMSC address: http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002

However, my phone requires more settings than this, and has some differnt options.

firstly, I have PAP or CHAP authentication.

Next, i have no proxy options on the phone, either for the address or the Port. I just have (after username and passwrd):

Wap Gateway URL

WAP gateway PORT

MMSC URL

MMSC port

max file size.

I then also have IP type and options of IPv4, IPV6, or IPV4V6.

can anyone help me with the configuration please?? I suspect just need a set of settings for the requirements of the phone rather than what O2 have given me.

APN = mobile.o2.co.uk (PAYG - payandgo.o2.co.uk)
Username = o2web (PAYG - payandgo)
Password = password

Authentication = None
WAP gateway (URL) = 82.132.254.1
WAP gateway port = 8080
MMSC (URL) = http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002
IP type = IPv4
That's all you should need....

You may have to call Customer Services on 202 contract or 4445 to have your account re provisioned for mms.

I assume you can connect to O2 data ok

Also as a tip mms are 40p each thus using email is free.

what's app and viber as examples are alternatives but the recipient needs to have the latter two downloaded too.
