Pop to your local O2 store and they will sim swap for you.

Moves your tariff and number to the correct account specific SIM card.

Payg SIM cards hold different info to pay monthly ones.

But now even the original sim won't slide in, it feels like something is obstructing it all because of this silly cradle they sent that didn't fit. Feel so angry they should have just sent through the micro chip like they did for my husband.

You can usually push the middle out of the sim to obtain a micro sim.
Is the cradle broken and stuck in the phone?

It's the prongs in the phone where the sim slides along. The cradle wasn't sliding in, it didn't feel right and was only half way in so I gently removed it but it was a little stuck and the end result was 1or 2 broken prongs:(

The new sim was smaller than the micro holder, they provide 2 size cradles unlike the pop out sims that come in 2 sizes, that's what my husband had and we had no problem at all. This cradle is black and you just pop the sim on top!
