gold numbers can be purchased through customer service but please bear in mind they are VERY expensive! i don't know the exact cost off the top of my head but will find out for you tomorrow

how are you going to find out? they vary in price depending on the number...

Cost being anything from hundreds to thousands!

Getting one from the network will cost you way more than scanning for one via a third party, i got one on ebay like 07123 123 123 for £60 now beat that!!!

By the way the number listed above is invalid, it was just an example!

its prob a bit like buying a private reg from DVLA - o2 will sell them for one price and other places will sell them for other prices

Platinum - £1,175 (Any suffix where all the digits are the same e.g. ***** 111111)
Gold - £587.50 (Any suffix that is highly desirable e.g. ***** 111444 or ***** 000111)
Silver - £293.75 (Any suffix that is desirable e.g. ***** 112244 or ***** 006006)
Bronze - £117.50 (Any number that is not classified as above and that a customer may request. This may be a copy of their landline number, either personal or business. Please note there are no lists set up for Bronze Numbers.

You mean that I can get a landline number associated with my mobile? Does it get forwarded on? How does that work for the person ringing me - do they pay landline rates or mobile rates?

I think it means you can have the same suffix as your landline for example if your landline number was 01355 421421 your mobile number could be say 07912 421421 - hope this helps

it just means that the number (house/Mome phone number) minus your area code can be the same as your mobile phone minus the prefix at the start 07872 or 07595 etc and it can be helpful. Thats as a bronze request and if the number is not already taken.
