I'm going to Lanzarote in a week. I want to be able to use my phone for short calls and texts but I do not want to send or receive emails or surf the web! If I turn data roaming off will I still be able to use my phone for calls and texts

In eu countries a short call is not advised due to the 50p call fee but that lasts up to 1 hour so less than 1p a minuite just ensure you end befor 60 mins

Are we sure Lanzarote is included in O2 travel it's not in the eu for tax purposes

How long are you going for?

If your phone is unlocked, the local sim would be cheaper to use.

If you are a Pay Monthly customer, depending on which phone you have you can downlaod the TuGo app and use your monthly allowance for calls and texts to the UK over WiFi.
